Marriage Celebrant

Lesley Morrison, as well as taking on the duties of Co-ordinator, is also the friendly, caring celebrant who will officiate at your wedding. Lesley considers it a privilege to conduct your marriage ceremony and will make every effort to ensure your wedding day will be perfect and everything you had ever imagined it to be.

Witnesses

In NZ, two witnesses must be present at the ceremony to witness and sign accordingly that a marriage took place in their presence. We will engage two such witnesses who will be honoured to be part of your wedding day.

Legal Paperwork

Prior to your arrival in NZ, we will make application in the form of “Notice of Intended Marriage” to the Dept. of Internal Affairs on your behalf requesting authority for your marriage to take place and make payment of the prescribed fee.
Once your wedding has taken place, the Celebrant is required to despatch the “Particulars of Marriage” to Births, Deaths and Marriages in Wellington where your marriage will be recorded. We will then make application for a “Marriage Certificate” to be issued and couriered to your home address and make payment of the prescribed fee.

Bridal Bouquet

It’s traditional for a bride to carry flowers on her wedding day, and who are we to break with tradition? A simple bridal bouquet of seasonal flowers will be lovingly created for you.
